Costume/ location list

Costume:

The outfit that the model was wearing on the shoot was chosen due to the nature of the magazine and the type of artist that the model was supposed to be. Due to the alternative/ indie feel that the model way trying to portray, a slightly messy/ grungy look was chosen. The model wore slightly faded black jeans, a flower patterned netted t shirt with a blue checked shirt. This 'mix match' approach adds to the aesthetic of the magazine. The models hair was purposely made messy to again, add to the grungy effect.

Location:

The location of the magazine was at the Gorleston cliff tops. I preferred a location shoot to a studio shoot as it allows for natural lighting and extra effects, for example wind in the hair or natural props like twigs or benches. An out doors shoot ties in with the article as its about going back to the artists 'roots', therefore being out out side and using brick walls and the sky as the back ground was perfect.
