Week 1: Research magazines with similar genres and construct basic drafts of the front cover,contents page and the double page spread.
Week 2: Make further drafts that hold more detail of all three pages. (Consider fonts/ colours and other images)
Week 3: Take photographs for the front page, double page spread and contents page as well as extras. Select best ones for the 3 pages. Edit photos (airbrush/ Photoshop) to fit the magazine.
Week 4: Create the mast head/logo for the magazine and take note of any design patterns to take throughout the magazine.
Week 5: Construct the front cover. Create cover lines and extras such as bar codes and other text.
Week 6: Carry on with the front cover. Create the contents page. Consider layout using guidelines. Also create feature and regular article names along with a subscription box and edit another image.
Week 7: Carry on with the front cover and contents page. Create Double page spread layout. Edit the image for the DPS, Also add features such as pull quotes and page numbers.
Week 8: Carry on with double page spread. Write the DPS article featuring the artist.
Week 9 on wards : Continuing editing anything that needs to be changed when given feedback.
